When I was a kid I always wanted to go fishing cod and seals to the Aleutians, fight in the bars in Anchorage, Ak and marry a Russian red haired princess, I just wanted to see those kind of beauties…..that’s why…
At that time I had hair and I could play the guitar so good that being a rock n’ roll start was in the reach of my fingertips. But then I thought instead it could be a better idea to become a Catholic priest in a town in Southern Ireland so I could spend all day drinking and preaching good advice in the parish..…….well, I came back to my senses and thought that perhaps becoming a sailor would grant me access to both, all kind of beauties and be able to preach to the sea and have a drink from time to time……most of the times I made it safely to an island ashore……that was not enough…..riding the wild west in a Bronco with a Winchester in my lap herding cattle from the Texas plains to the Gallatin Valley in Montana was the cool stuff for me….and I made it to Houston, Tx.
There are moments in life when you gotta settle, but not yet, not even at 41, instead you can unleash your imagination and dreams and keep going. Nobody said, and there is no written rule, that you have to settle when you are 40, but maybe just stop the bad habit of wandering and placing your living room in any place your imagination provokes you to do…..
